Dr. Karen PaquetteDr. Karen Lee Paquette, ND, PT received her naturopathic medicine degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2005. Before attending CCNM she received her Bachelor’s of Science in both Physical Therapy (1994) and Zoology (1989) from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver and worked in orthopedic and sports medicine for 7 years.

Dr. Paquette, having a passion for sharing her knowledge, was both an associate professor at CCNM for 5 years and authored her first book, Stop Being Stopped, The Go Doctor’s Guide to Unleashing a Healthier Sexier You! in 2008.

Her special interests include preventative and lifestyle medicine, detoxification (including heavy metals), digestive health, weight loss, stress management and hormone balancing. She has special extensive training in chronic disease management, IV and chelation therapy, and bio-identical hormone therapy.

In addition to seeing patients one-on-one, she enjoys delivering inspirational health-related lectures to the public. As a certified life coach she helps her patients achieve their health dreams by removing obstacles that have stopped them in the past.

Dr. Paquette enjoys and has a long personal history as an elite athlete and is a two-time member of the support team for the summer Olympic Games. She enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, snowboarding, traveling, and connecting with nature.
